Training Overview The Marine Basic First Aid program is designed to train individuals working aboard ships. The St John Marine Basic First Aid program is based on the St. John Ambulance, Standard level First Aid with CPR level A with an additional Marine First Aid Supplement The training requirements for the Marine Basic First Aid program are found in the Transport Canada document, TP 13008: Training Standards for Marine First Aid and Marine Medical Care. Training Duration and Times This is an 16 hour course that will start at 7:30 and run until 16:30 on each day of the course
